nordmedia-Talk Bremen special:


North Sea Screen Partners member nordmedia hosted a talk on Thursday, November 24th 2011 in Bremen on "Science and Creative Industries in the North Sea Region" after the conference "How does it work? – Creative Industries meet Science" by Creative City Challenge.

The nordmedia talk focused on points of contact between Science and Creative Industries in the North Sea Region. Jochen Coldewey, Head of development and funding at nordmedia chaired the evening. 

The panel included Ole Leifels, Kubikfoto (Bremen, Germany) who presented facilities of 3-D photography and members of North Sea Screen Partners member organisations: Andy Mackenzie of Dundee College, and also member of Creative City Challenge, presented his projects: Creative Industries and Mapping Creativity, where students research indicators about a city´s creativity; Peter Richardson of University of Dundee, School of Media Arts and Imaging presented his project ROBOT (innovation shorts) and the Visual Effects Research Lab; and Julie Lindegaard, Head of business development at FilmFyn, introduced her work on filmtourism and her Filmtourism App. The panel discussion was followed by a networking session where participants were able to meet and discuss  the research.
