3DFM - Call for Submissions!

The 3D Stereo MEDIA Film Festival (Belgium) and creative industries consultancy peacefulfish (Germany/UK) have received support from the MEDIA Programme of the European Commission to launch the first European co-production market for stereoscopic 3D content.

This film market, dubbed the 3DFM, will take place on 7 and 8 December 2011 as part of the third edition of the 3D Stereo MEDIA Film Festival in Liège, Belgium.

The 3DFM will bring together European producers (film, TV, alternative content, etc.) who have stereoscopic feature, documentary, or animation projects at the development stage with international co-producers, sales agents, distributors, and financiers for pitching sessions and one-to-one meetings.

Set during the 3D Stereo MEDIA Festival, which is both a technology conference dedicated to stereoscopic 3D and a film festival, the aim is to provide both 3D and 2D producers from across Europe with insight into the rapidly growing 3D market as a basis for forming future working relationships.

Call for Submissions:
The call for project applications from producers will be launched on 6 June 2011. The deadline for submission is 1 September 2011. Twenty projects will be selected to attend the market and compete for the 3DFM Pitch Prize.
