Pixar Animators & BAFTA Winner to Visit St Andrews for Half Cut Film Festival

The Half Cut Film Festival is the biggest student film festival in Scotland, showcasing the best of up-and-coming filmmaking talent. It is part of On The Rocks Scottish Student Arts Festival (17th-24th April), and organised by Rogue Productions (the University of St Andrews filmmaking society).

There are no restrictions on genre, and entry is open to all, making for an extremely exciting festival which culminates in an Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 20th April. This year's judges include Pixar animators, Jaime Landes and Lindsay VanderGalien, and Robert Sproul-Cran, a BAFTA award winner with 30 years experience in the filmmaking industry. The judges will also be giving industry talks and Q&A sessions, so there will be a chance for everyone to pick the brains of these industry professionals.

The Festival is currently looking for submissions for the Awards Evening and the People's Choice Awards Evening. Deadline: 11th April. Click here for more information on Terms & Conditions on submissions.
