NSSP All Partners Meeting in Bremen

North Sea Screen Partners met for the third All Partners Meeting on 24 and 25 August 2010 in Bremen, kindly hosted by nordmedia. In the conference floor of the Radio Bremen Weserhaus building Lead Partner Julie Craik of TayScreen, Scotland moderated the program items on the agenda. New project team members were presented, the various aims of the project were discussed, and the interim internal project objectives for the next few months have been set.

The Bremen Town Musicians

On the evening of the first day the Partners walked along the Schlachte, had an exclusive tour of the Bremen Town Hall and visited the beautiful premises of the UNESCO World Heritage. Following this the Bremen Tourist Office kindly sponsored a tour of the old city of Bremen.

View from Atlantic City Sail

On the afternoon of the 25th August the NSSP members and some of the producers who had arrived for the nordmedia-hosted Co-production Conference the following day, visited Bremerhaven on a bus tour supplied by BIS for SAIL 2010. On the bus there was a casual round of introductions. Having arrived in Bremerhaven, the group visited the German Emigration Centre, listened to a lecture about the Klimahaus, and enjoyed the view of Bremerhaven and the sailing ships from the platform of the Atlantic City Sail Hotel. The group then enjoyed some delicious traditional fish sandwiches in Fiedler before the journey back to Bremen.
