Towering mountains, breath-taking fjords, alpine tundra and hundreds of miles of coast are just a few examples of the natural geography Norway has to offer. From the most northern point, due to its proximity to the Artic, one can experience both the beauty of the Northern Lights in the winter months and also the surreal perpetual daylight of the midnight sun in the summer. Traces of the Vikings can still be found in the historical heritage and one can visit Landa, a prehistoric village in the south-west.

Our Norwegian partners, Western Norway Film Centre and Western Norway Film Commission, hail from Bergen, the second largest city in Norway after the capital Oslo, located on the south-western coast. The city is also home to the Bergen International Film Festival, which offers audiences a chance to see great films from all over the world.
